No more swim lessons...well for the summer at least

So this past week I cancelled Victoria's swim lessons. Her last day is April 27th. There were a couple of different factors behind the decision. The first is that summer is coming. One may think that is when you should have swim lessons, but that it exactly why I am taking her out. The swim school gets SOO crowded, almost annoying busy. The second reason is because it just isn't worth it to drive a half hour for her to swim a half hour to drive a half hour back. Also, she is getting more and more involved with dance. Now she is doing competitions and extra practices. The last reason is the price. I can justify the $72 per month when there is unlimited swim but when it is for a half hour lesson once a week I just can't. We talked about it and she understands. I told her we will talk about it when she starts 2nd grade.
She is improved by leaps and bounds in the pool! We will def be spending lots of time in the pool this summer so she can keep practicing!

We went to the park so she could practice riding with no training wheels. She did really good for her first time and she wasn't scared of falling (we taught her how to fall). She just needs to keep pedaling, she stops and then she falls off.

Happy Easter Everyone!! Check out the basket of Easter Eggs...they turned out SO cool!

SHE GOT A NEW BIKE!! Gramma Liz bought her a new bike and a helmet with peace signs for Easter. It doesnt have training wheels so she needs to quickly learn to ride.

We had a very busy week...What a great visit with Tina and Gramma Liz!

The results are in...

This is before the dance competition. There were 3 groups in her jazz division and 2 in her tap division. They got 2nd for both groups. Great job, especially for their first competition!

Gramma Liz and Tina came to watch. She was so happy that they came.

Competition Day!
