Pool Key

Vi asked if we could go to the pool to practice swimming. I told her we needed to wait because they changed the pool key. She said "What did they change it into?". I had to laugh but honestly she is thinks differently than most. Probably why she is so smart...

Swim Lessons

Vi loves taking swim lessons and she is doing really well.

First Lost Tooth

Today while Vi was eating her sandwich for lunch her tooth fell out! It is so small (see the little white dot on the couch).

...yeah, not really the words you want to hear coming from your kid in the other room. First thought at least she is yelling to me so how bad could it really be right?


Now although oral hygene is very important using the ENTIRE thing of floss is not neccessary! Yes that is right....her little "accident" was using unrolling all the floss. UGH, that stuff is expensive and I don't have a job so I made her go put it back in the bathroom for later use. Times are tough and we all have to give a little...if that means using "used" floss then so be it!

Vi got a fish!

Vi has been talking about getting a fish ever since they learned about ocean life in school and her teacher brought in goldfish. So last week we finally let her get one. She picked out a female beta and named her Sally.

Sam and Tina's July Visit

Grandpa Sam and Tina came out to visit us for the 4th of July. We had a great time relaxing...


We of course had to go to Oreganos!

We went to the oldest teddy bear factory. There was literally mexican ladies sitting at a sewing machine making the bears. This is the second largest teddy bear in history.

Grandpa Sam and Vi when we went bowling. Sam had to wear his hat like that in order to get strikes :)

Vi loves to go bowling...and since it is cheap on Sundays she is getting practice...

On our way to see the fireworks on the 4th. Vi has to be fashonable for everything...

So Vi cracked me up the other day. She was talking about a cool summer toy that you put on the ground and there is water on it and you slide on it. I said yeah a slip and slide and she said no a run and slide. hahaaahaha...
