This afternoon we went to Ellie, Vi's friend from dance, to make gingerbread houses. Vi had a blast!

Dishes

Vi wanted Buddy the Elf to give Santa a good report so she decided to do the dishes. Eddie said that maybe we should talk about giving her an allowance. She thought that was a good idea. She then said dishes were worth $5 or $10. Eddie asked her if she was a teamster :D

Dentist

Vi went to the dentist on Thursday for a check-up. No cavities! YAY!! This is the first time she was able to use the panaramic x-ray machine. She is so cute!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010

We are so grateful for many, many things...among Vi's list was pillows and blankets, food and dancing...she of course had the standard family, friends and and every dog in the world.

Turkey Trot

Today was the annual Turkey Trot at Brisas. Vi isn't a big fan of running but she did a really good job.

They warmed up by doing the Chicken Dance.

No toys needed...

Vi can entertain herself for hours with just about anything. This weekend she found my makeup and played with it for quite some time. And by playing with it, I don't mean putting it on. I mean she was playing with each of the pieces. How many kids do this? I love Vi, she is an amazing little girl!

2010-2011 Competition Season

Vi and Morgan are doing a Pom Pom duet for competition. They have been practicing really hard. They did a awesome job at their first competition this Saturday!

Vi's class did a play of Johnny Appleseed for their tall tale theme. Vi was the narrator, she was so excited.

We went trick or treating with Morgan and her family. Vi had a blast and everyone loved her zombie bride costume.

Acting Debut

Denise sent Vi a Halloween package yesterday. In it was a book. She of course read it immediately and had a grand idea. "I want to do a play of the book". She read the book a couple more times and practiced once. I took a video of her doing the play. She brings a smile to my face...enjoy!

Field Trip

Victoria's class went on their first field trip of the year. It was to see a play, A Year with Frog and Toad. The kids really enjoyed it. I snuck in a picture before the play started...

Constitution Day

Today is Constitution Day and like every year Vi had an assembly to honor the Constitution. This year the 2nd grade sang the Preamble.

Grandparents Day at school

Today was grandparents come to school to read with the kids. Granny came to Vi's class. She really enjoyed the time.

Last night was Victoria's 7th birthday party! She had it at the gymnastics school where she took camp. All the girls had such a great time! Here are some of the pictures I took...

Second Grade Teacher

Last night was meet the teacher night at Victoria's school. And the lucky lady that has the honor of having Victoria in her class is...Mrs. Audsley!! She knows tons of the kids in her class. Lots of them are from either her kinder class or her first grade class. And best of all one of her bffs, Nika is in class with her! It's gonna be a great year!
