Rockin Out

Victoria and I were rockin out to Benny and the Jets while waiting for swim class to start.

Still swimming...

Victoria LOVES swimming. She is doing so good. She is a the Dolphin level and quickly progressing. She told me today she wants to do swim races. We are going to keep her swimming as long as she wants to swim. We are so happy she likes it so much!

MLK Day

I took Vi and her BFF Alexandra to see the new Alvin movie yesterday since there was no school. They had these giant chipmunks so the girls of course wanted to strike a pose with them.

As you all know Vi is "very fashion"and will pose at the drop of a hat. Watch out world...

First Grade Q2 Report Card

Today the Q2 report cards were sent home. Once again we are blown away at how amazing our little girl is! She is at a second grade reading level and quickly improving to excelling in math. We are so very proud of her!

Winter Dance Recital

Saturday was Vi winter dance recital. She did two tap dances (one with her class and one with the entire studio) and a gymnastics routine. She was so excited and had a great time. And she did really, really good!! I helped out backstage and Eddie worked the curtains. Vi was very happy to have both of us backstage with her.
Vi had to wear a high curly pony tail so the night before I washed her hair and put the sponge curlers in. She slept with them all night.

Her tap dance was "Going to the Chapel" so they all wore bride costumes. So cute!

Since both Eddie and I were working backstage we didn't get a lot of pictures. This one was this morning in her gymnastics costume. She also had a gold belt for the recital.

Vi is getting so good at dance and it is really great to see it all come together. She is already looking forward to the July recital when she can do her jazz dance.

It is January 7th and 72 degrees. Vi is wearing a tank top. I LOVE AZ!

Welcome Twenty-Ten

Happy New Year All...

We are very excited to ring in the new year and see what it has in store for us. Last year was very eventful for us and we are grateful for all that happened, good and bad, as it taught us and helped us to grow. We are much happier because of all the lessons learned.
