Dance Performance

On Sat Oct 8th Vi and the Sundance Competition teams dance during intermission at a local charity event. Melissa competed in the AZ Dancing with the Local Community Leaders. She came in 3rd! It was a great experience and Vi had a blast.

School Spirit

Where oh where has Miss Victoria been?!? Well, she now goes by Tori at school...3rd grade has been quiet busy to say the least. Between school, dance and swim lessons we barely have time to breathe.
Victoria is lovin' 3rd grade and her teacher Mrs Kann. The week before school started she got braces. So far so good. It is amazing how quickly her teeth are moving. We can already see it! Victoria is lucky to have her BF Nika in her class again this year. -And to add to the fun a friend from dance, Isabella, now goes to school with her.

Dance is going well. Miss Melissa is really working her and it shows! It is amazing how good she is getting. :D She is also doing great in swimming. She is just about to move up to the next level! On top of all this dance and swim she is still ahead of the curve in school!

On July 23rd Vi had her Summer Dance Recital. Once again she stole the show! She was in 13, yes 13, dances! She continues to amaze me with the fact that she is not only doing awesome in school but she can remember 13 dances. I am more and more proud of her everyday! Summer Break

So summer break is 3 weeks in. We have been busy, busy. Here are a couple of pictures of what has been going on.

Vi got a trophy for getting all 3 splits. She has been working really hard. Great job Vi!


The competition team performed at the Philipine Independance Day Celebration. They are always a hit.


Sabrina, Madeline and Otis are out for a visit. We of course had to celebrate the girls brthday.


Vi and Morgan had cheer camp. It was sponsored by the High School cheer team. The girls loved it!

So summer break is 3 weeks in and we have been going non-stop.

So long 2nd grade...hello summer break!

Yesterday was the last day of school! After the last month I think I was more excited than Vi. I am doing more and more at the school (which I love) but it keeps me super busy (hence the lack of posts).
Vi has officially passed the 2nd grade (like there was any doubt :D)! She finished up the year on a high note. She had a little trouble in math in the middle of the year (they say that second grade is when kids start to hate math because it gets hard) but with the help of her AMAZING teacher she pulled ahead! She got such a great report card she got to pick out a toy from target. She is really into Monster High dolls...

We shall see what the summer brings!

Legacy Wall

Brisas is starting a new tradition, a Legacy Wall. You can buy and paint a tile and they will put it on the school in the courtyard. On Thursday we went to the pottery painting place and made ours. It turned out really nice. I can't wait to see it once it is complete!
